Updated: much of it Scaled back down to 1 from 1.4. "Pack includes meadhouse" .pk3 with updated gameplay multiplayer untested. I have made .aas AI bot files for all maps.Included the concept shorts too.."included below" for me the .aas file creation was a challenge and i had many attempts pooch out on me..I am gratefull to Simon "Sock" for this achivement. he too had some issues wiht it on his POM "pyramid of Majik" map, check it out and also if you would like another experiance with idtech3 or Quake III arena gameplay his map "The Edge of Forever" or "moteof_final2.pk3" is entertaining.

12-18-2012: MeadHouse now has a light bug. I'll attempt to recompile using another batch file.

2-Bots do not go up and down the sprial staircase.

Comcept Shorts:
Santhrums' theme comes from a "war for territory" senerio. 
Once discoverd, a vasts mineral deposist in abundance apeard on the island of Santhrum.
It was Phobos "most watched" that had the initional interests and facts obtained for a grant to mine/reep this mineral back in 2324. Yeilding new positive promotions.This was hearsay for many on the mainland of Turtoric,due to his introvert stature, Being Phobos souly. awakening the voyer senses of Klesk,He  could take his observations to a point of no return.. So He did just that. not only did Klesk peer into Phobos' enviroment, He would taint the rations too, his grains were pepperd with microscopic organisums augmented now wiht GPS nanotrans. promoting body vitals,and some traced thought patterns, as well as cell merging biochemicals entering Phobos State of being.. he also pushed plauge like ionic particals to alter the weather on the island.Phobos had not only copper but a new minieral "Flakoric" that later aided in the detection/defense of this ion plague.. the others were easily detected due to the nature being, the nanotrans and vital reads were first taken in a pill form while conducting expiditions in the deep cold back in 1985.SO this method of obtaining infomation was read out by soul body vitals taking directly by the affected being.It was just many had forgotten it existed.Phobos, the most watch and overseen of his kind. tended to forcast from feeds of generated knowns based on a elemental equation "topograpgy was his will.. the will to just know". of what much of the worlds general bahaivors had created. or would be.this was the begining of the battle for Santhrum.  a TRUE TOPOLogICAL CAUSE.

Perterbia:
This follows the above story post the battle or AFTERMATH of. you see after Klesk was loosing his athority at the battle for Santhrum his Clanmembers began to doubt his perspective and leadership. He began to phycologically create and decieve Phobos to other beings and cyborgs.. Comletely decieving his Notions, positive progressions and causes behind his digs findings and inovation. Klesk now had manipullated,phycologically re-created Phobos in many other minds eyes. If Phobos was not hated or misunderstood, it seemd he had been forgotten as well..so like the map, he built a complex to serve another venture  this some-what backfired following another battle for posistion.

Ecolition:
After many years the lands of Turtoric and the island of Santhrum had been tainted by a wide spread outbreak of a new Ecoli.. it had been discoverd by Phobos nephew. After referancing the old material and logs his uncle wrote during his findings and tests, then added to the newer defind technoligis and processes of this era he had uncoverd the ions Klesk had sent to Phobos had evolved. The micro-organisums and the wasts produced excreated from the host by bodyfluids created a chemical bacteria that grew by a process of cycles much like N1,N2,N3.. yes from a liquid, gas and solids visa versa and circumferance... well this grew 1 million times r2 between each stage and was sided as a migratory infectious substance, by all that had been mined and sold/disposed as expensures... reeping such Havok and killing off many differant beings of several types/breeds you can only imagin the chaos that was off the leash from this taking of keystones.. the aftermath,the stripping or a balanced ecosystem and socioties...

Polyredux: "Mead House"
well this ones been horded long enough i think, It started out with me messing around with pollygons. and it took some symetric apeal.. then it seemed to be a nice way to end this concept.
It was told, Emense Post mortem resided of the lands and Island. Many beings were completly wipped out. and the sick concept that rulers and comanders were amoungst the suviviors for they ran from the rancid evolution and left the fight thay had fed. Of all the wasts, the ecoli plauge left little untainted resources to build up or into a state of restructure. A strive to rebuild a civilation was the drive, and Phobos was not going to be dictated or offerd any further "damn if i do, damn if i don'ts". cause for effect.."isnt that one step from dictatorship"?
 He drew back to his home on the island and activated his UV lava pit he had created to clean sweep the bateria away. His nephew now a ampute from A gauntlet attack given by the great xero, desinged methods of scrubbing the ecoli and ions away wiht a supper cool plasma he devised by the method of peltier technology&UV form the lava and incubating Flakoric in sunlight using the bark of a ancient tree they called a Willow. it was time to remove our bodies from the clean suits and feel the elements of the planet and ecosystem once again. seizing the near domino effect , Now it was time.. time to gather up the ones that contributed to this act of lies, faults and mistrust. Equalling this devastation. Who knows the if/thens will be passed by future genes..well..we would fight and battle till the end one by one.. but not before we gatherd up several direct individuals for decor.. yah they are all slatherd around our estate to be seen as and a message of.. "do not attempt to bid as they did". After the battle had been won and all the dealers had been slain,hung and torn down to biomechanical scrap MWHAHHAHhah.. it was turned into a Mead House, whereas many would come to drink and fullfill what and where they should have been 29 years ago to this day.BUt now theres only hope for another bad animal to step up and call on another negitive will to devastate,take and oppress yet again... now all see ones own and another contradiction.

Maps are from scratch, although i did take one z deminsion from dm7 for perterbias' canopy, I like it.All maps have stories, I'll release them after the betas are fully tested an i optimize the aas files..

ahh erm... I attempted to get the platform sound files to work. Concluding..the bug occurs due to a dir tree issue."directory structure" the only other attempt is to open your baseq3 pak0.pk3 with your compression file program,"it's the largest one for vanilla q3"., using a program such as "winraw winzip pkzip...and place the desired platform sound files under 
sound/movers/plat/pt1_strt.wav  
sound/movers/plat/pt1_end.wav 
then re-pack.
I could personally not yeild any positive results without manipulating a file into the santhrum.pk and at this point i do not have the will to do so.
If you are comfortable with the above fix.and have a compression program just pick a nice .wav sound file and rename them as stated above.
I chose tank.jr taunt and placed it into my pak0.pk3 .. works for me.

LIGHTING:

If your experiance with the lighting of the map is too dark, you Could change the gamma to a higher value. 
Note: that the gamma console command only affects vanilla quake III Arena  if the game is in full screen. 
(the game fills all of the screen, no window border)
 "Alt+Enter" is default to switch to and from full screen, you may use the gamma correction under 
setup/system/display 

The default value of '/r_gamma 1.0', a good starting point, 
usually 1.2 and something a lot brigher is 1.5,. 

if that fails attempt Vertex and or lightmap settings seta r_vertexLight "1" if you need referance
try searching the web via your perferd search engin for Quake 3 arena vertex or lightmap cmds.

Note: if you elect to use r_vertexlight "1", this causes shaded textures to become dull/washed out.
Example: concrete floors and walls were effected most in my experiance.

RECOMEDATIONS MEMORY: 

The map will run singal player @ default memory settings.
If the map will not start from the
menu please check your memory settings with the console command.

The default value is '/com_hunkmegs 56' NO '
Recomended settings is '/com_hunkmegs 75'up to'com_hunkmegs 128'for online play. 

Textures:

i appplied the textures using vanilla quake 3 arena pk files, CTF, Common,Base and some Gothic however,
HI-resolution mods are availble if your system Superseeds the requirements.

I've never tested on a online multiplayer/LAN server but it should do well.
